General Rules of using email from Corp IT policy:

l  There should be a clear business objective and need to send a mass mail.

l  The target group should be carefully selected so that the mail is relevant to all or most of the people receiving it.

l  Don’t spend spam: such as advertising or anything that can be considered as junk mail.

l  Don’t send personal messages.

l  Zip large size file before attached to email. Try to save the file in intranet, and attach the web link in email, instead of attached the file itself.

 

General Rules of using the Company Internet Service:

l  Use the Internet for business purpose only.

l  Do not use non-Company email systems, such as Yahoo email, Hotmails while you are in office.

l  Do not download/install any program from the Internet without the approval from the ICT Department as you may be opening a backdoor for viruses and spywares.

l  Do not play Internet games or use any Internet chat.

l  Use only the Company poxy server.

l  Do not share your network/application login and password with anyone other than yourselves.

 

IT will be consistently monitoring the network and your computer to report any abuse. If any abuses are found, then IT will revoke the user’s email account or Internet access immediately following by action according to the Company policy.
